ABOUT YOUR HOST

Donna S. Frelick has been a journalist, a Peace Corps Volunteer, a martial artist, an author of Star Trek fan fiction and an award-winning science fiction romance novelist. But her dream job has always been film critic. She has loved the movies since she saw Errol Flynn in THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD in an open-air theater in Athens, Greece as a tot. (That movie is still one of her favorites!) And she still loves anything on the silver screen, large or small. 

Her favorites: Universal horror movies, film noir, old-school science fiction, Westerns, classic Hollywood in any form. She also enjoys thrillers, historicals, cop dramas and anything from a different cultural perspective. Rom-coms, slasher films and films about dysfunctional families or people trying to find themselves are at the bottom of her viewing list.
